Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems

RE: Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems
This is pretty easy...your fuel pump is probably running backwards. Take a look at the fuel pump harness and see if you may have reversed the wires. Turn your ignition on and wait until you hear the pump shut off. Then use a small screw driver to press down the schrader valve which is mounted on the fuel rail (looks like a little metal valve stem). You should have a good spray of fuel (watch your eyes). If you have a guage, ignition on pressure should be close to 50 psi with running pressure at idle around 40-45psi.

RE: Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems
If I'm not getting enuff fuel pressure then what might the problem be? Cuz Im not sure, but i dont thing I pugged it backwards. I did it exactly like my stock one was. Then I plugged my sock pump back in thinking the new pump was the problem...and still the same thing. Wha else could the problem be.
