K&N air filter
What are the advantages of replacing my MAC air filter (came with my MAC straight shot CAI) with a K&N air filter? My one friend told me its worth probably 5 horse power but that sounds crazy to me...he also said it will make the air sound of the CAI/TB/Plenum louder, any truth to this? which size filter would go with the MAC straight shot? thanks

k&n filter are advertised 5hp. they really give you about 1-2. The one on your CAI right now is a reusable one or should be at least. I have never heard anything about it making the tb/plenum/cai sound louder... where did he come up with that one? Id say just keep your one on there now.
