On the autometer install you remove your old digital odometer readout and put it on your new autometer gauge cluster. It saves your mileage.
No, I dont think so. There are 2 wire harnesses that you unplug from the old cluster and plug into the new one. The odometer is saved in your computer.

i have a 2001 so it may be different i got the 7001 cluster

If i had a scanner id scan in the directions and show ya

some instructions if your a member(which im not) u would see hte rest of the install. As you can see they are plainly removing the back panel

Ive been looking around for this guage cluster for a while now and the cheapest I can find it for is $439. Thats way too high of a price, but that is the cluster I want to get. Do any of you guys know where I can find it for a more reasonable price? Heres a pic...

Looks awsome. I really want to go with some of the same sieres boost/fuel pressure gauges, and this cluster. But man is it expensive!
