RE: sunroof poll
in my personal opinion its a waist of money and due to the roof line they look out of place.
i love sunroofs tho, if i go to buy a car and it has that option il try my best to find one with it. i like the ones that tuck between the roof and the cabin, like the one on my dads bmw m3.

I put a sunroof in my old '98. It was just a pop-up sunroof that was removable, it was not powered. I loved it! I like the pop-up style sunroofs b/c you can remove the glass. It doesn't slide over the top of the car like the powered ones do (you can't get the sunroofs that tuck b/t the roof and the headliner b/c there is not enough room for the glass to slide back). Plus the pop-up was like $250 installed compared to over $900 for the powered. My car was dark green, so the sunroof really didn't stand out too much and it matched the roofline pretty good. I have been debating about puting one in my Mineral Grey '02 GT. My vote is for the sunroof.

RE: sunroof poll
my buddy has one on his 96 and i love it. what looks really good about his is that it's big and there's no molding around the glass when it slides back and has a very clean look.
if you already have the sunroof and know how to install it yourself....why the hell not put it in????? [sm=shades.gif]

RE: sunroof poll
Well this one is very big as the powered ones need to be because they never slide back all the way, cutting off like 4 or 5 inches of skylight. I have it in the box that I bought for my Silverado from an estate sale. I think I paid $100 for it if I'm not mistaken. The parts box isn't there, but that's just a switch with wiring and hardware! That stuff is all common. I remember going to a junk yard to buy one for my Ford Probe GT back in the day. I wanted the biggest one I could find! I found it. It was on a freakin 1986 Mazda RX-7. It took up the entire roof. It was alomst like havng a complete targa top with the pilliars. It was the funniest thing ever. People would ask if it cam off a station wagon, because it was huge. I think 34"wide x 27or28"front to back! YUP This one is a bit smaller
