Default ***GOOD BUY?***

so im looking at this car saturday...another gt. its 2001, my same color that dark or midnight blue, coupe, leather, 6 cd changer, he says he smoked a few times in it (we'll see about it when i test drive) , the outside is in REALLY good condition BUTTTTT it has 113k. it is a 5 spd and completely stock. he wants 8 grand obo, ill offer him 6 for it 6700 MAX. is this a fair price for this car if everything is running? is that too high miles for the year? i dont think the cars been beat on, but i need this one to be somewhat reliable as a daily driver for summers and such when im home from school. thanks.

auto, exhaust manifold leak, paying too damn much for it, cd player (6 cd) is broken, and convertible. oh and the loan is stillin my fathers name from when i was a minor, and i cant get it transfered cuz it was cosigned he signed it, so until its paid ( 5500 more) i cant mod it. mainly the auto part.

Too many miles for me and too high priced. I would keep looking or keep an eye out for a 99/01 Cobra.

You guys are scaring me, 113k "too many miles"? I put a supercharger on my '90 Miata when it had 235k (it had 185k when I bought it) and drove it another 55k miles; my '92 Miata (with the same s/c, rebuilt once) had 111k when I got it and has 185k on it now--both of these saw redline daily...We routinely keep our cars for 10 years/200k milesor more--this is the first American car I've owned in nearly 25 years, if it turns out to onlylast 120k miles it will be the last too...

I mean it really all depends on the car, these engines are tanks when taken care of correctly, but if it was beaten on then 113k is alot, ask about the previous owners, long as no kids had it you should be fine

too high of a price you would be better off buying like a 96 for a cheaper price with less miles

why dont you just pay the thing off is you only owe 5500 on it. then fix your problems with the money you saved?
