Pretty sure its the same concept, but I would say to find the part that matches what you already have as it may be designed slightly differant.

Same concept...limited slip,trac loc...all have clutches...

if you plan on drag racing you may want to upgrade to a "posi" like Eaton.

Both are the same. In our area many years ago, GM fans referred to limited slip as posi-trac and Ford fans referred to limited slip as Traction lok. I am sure therewill be variation of the terms used by different people, but that is how the terms were used when I was at a younger prime.

Traction-Lok is Ford's name for a spring pre-loaded, operationally torque loaded, clutch pack type limited slip differential, GM calls it Posi-Traction--I.e. 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other...

Yeah, I thought it was all the same. I've heard all of the terms used interchangeably on this site, I'd never really thought about it before.

i replaced my busted carrier with a auburn limited slip oem, that way i know that i am getting both tires to spin. i think that it was around 500
