my little brother needs a car within 2 months so i will be handing down my car to him... my dads giving me 12 grand for my 00 gt. and i wanna put it down for a 2003 snake or 2007 gt?

i want ppls opionons on what to get? lol i cant decide. i want a 03 cobra because... well its a cobra.. but at the same time i want something alot newer.

and just to throw it out there. my dad bought a shelby gt 500. white with blue stripes. OMG that thing drives like a freaking BEAST! .

2007 GT is cool...but it isnt a Cobra ;]

See this is the thing that I dont get. When comparing the two car, WHAT IS THERE TO COMPARE????????????? lol.Nearly Everyone riding around in a 05+ gt could have a 03 cobra.

haha yeah... i was looking at this cobra. its 27 grand. but i think its worth it. it hit 488 RWHP on the dryno..

It just depends on what you want.... Unless you just want the 'Cobra' name or want to exceed 450rwhp then getting a Cobra just would not be worth it.... When buying a car as old as an 03/04 Cobra you just have to remember..... Someone else bought that car to DRIVE it... and probably has 'driven' it pretty damn well!

I would love to have one but wouldnt you hate to dish out 25k for a possible lemon?

If you would be happy with the new body styling, capping out at 450rwhp, and having a LONG warranty... then get the 07 GT
