Default The Official Silver Bucket Build thread..UPDATED

JonBeast posted a good idea about consolidating the build of the Bucket. I will end up making this a sticky, so I can update with pics and info. All work is being done by Texas Hot Rods in El Paso, Texas. They are a supporting vendor on Mustang Forums.

Last dyno runs and 1/4 mile times with old set up are 342rwhp and 351rwtq...Best N/A time is a 12.09@112mph. Best 1/4 mile N2O time with 125HP jet with #7 and #8 piston rings letting go is a 11.44@112mph. The motor let go just after the 1/8. On that run the 1/8 mile time was a 7.2@99mph.

Here is a list of changes:
*Going from MAC 1 5/8" primariesLT'sto Kooks custom stainless 1 7/8" primaries LT's
*MAC 2.5" O/R ProChamber to Kooks custom stainless 3" O/R X-pipe

*Weld ProStar aluminum wheels (15x3.5 front and 15x10 rear) to Weld Magnum Pro aluminum wheels (15x3.5 front and 15x10 rear) about a 30lb+ savings
*165R15 front radial tires (front) to MT ET Front Runners 15x4's another 15lb savings
*26x11.5x15 MT ET Streets to 28x10.5x15 MT ET Drags
*T3650 to TKO 500 tranny
*Forged 11.25:1 compression 5cc dish pistons to Forged 13.5:1 compression fly cut, flat top pistons

In the first pic...Brian from THR took the pic. That's my skinny a$$ on the right, my son in the middle, one of Brian's shop guys (can't remember his name) on the left and Mrscode on the far left.

I love your car man!
My car is officially retired from daily driving now so for the next two years I get to work on suspension and bling. When I get out of school in two years my gift to myself will be a fully built motor!!!!!!
