-keeping my GT rears and cutting the dead coil
-Maximum motorsports c/c plates
-3.73 gears with xcal2
-want to get control arms, but unsure of brand??? anyone ever used the "stang suspension" brand?

While on this subject....I'm leaning towards these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/79-04...QQcmdZViewItem

...for the lowers...Let me explain....Supposedly this are the same as the ol SSM "South Side Machine" bars, which I ran in few GM cars with better than good results...One was a 78 malibu with a SBC making only 420 h.P and turning consistant 1.45 60's on the foot brake...Has anyone used these?....

I would go with Maximum motorsports control arms. I am going MM for the majority of my suspension parts. I have never heard anything but good stuff about their products. They also stand behind their products.

Just make sure the control arms are tubular and not boxed. . . .

Just get the UPR's. The adj uppers allow ya to set pinion angle and "no" they won't come "set", but if ya follow the instructions, they should be close. You will need to get an angle finder gauge and set the pinion angle at -2*.

this may be dumb, but dont you measure pinion angle by putting the angle finder on the driveshaft or no?
