Default I guess mustangs are easy to break into

well i locked my keys in my car earlier today [:@]so me and a coworker were out in the mid-day sun for over 10 minutes tryingto jimmy the lock with a coat hanger when this guy walks up and says " you guys need a hand?" we were like; "yea, sure". so the guy looks at it for a bit then goes "ahhh" and in no more the 10 seconds,he had it open. I didn't know it was that easy to get into these cars

Yeah I'd like to know that too. My wife locked her key in her car once with it running and she had to call a lock smith.

any time you have a car that the doors do not have a window frame that goes all the way around its very easy. you could also take a flathead screwdriver to the back side of the window pry back just a little on the window (because it doesnt have a frame) and use a coat hanger to hit the unlock button and there you go unlocked!!! used to have to do this for friends with pontaics (firebirds and so on)

Did you guys ever stop to think that this guy could have been a f*cking thief and the reason he knew how to get in so fast was because he had just knocked off a few stangs around the corner [sm=yikesomg.gif]

Or he worked for AAA as a locksmith.

Either way. You can break into any car with ease. Take anything sharp (i.e. screwdriver, nail, key, etc.) and press it against one of the bottom corners of the glass and give the screwdriver, key, nail, knife, etc. a smack. Whaaalaah! Shattered glass. Or a bat.

it just looked ridiculously easy the way he did it, you just have to pull the weather strip up then stick a hanger down in there and viola! to make things worse, i just installed a new amp and head unit [:-]
