Tuner with no dyno

What do you guys think? Dude's a great tuner but does not have a dyno!

Then how does he know what the A/F ratio is? I would not chance it with a forced induction car.

Honestly if he not using a dyno, he's not that good. I have people claim to be great tuners or to had thier cars tuned by supposed great tuners all the time, I out the car on the dyno and usually find power for them and drivability.

I agree! Guy is really a good tech but I'm against the no dyno tuning

You dont need a dyno for A/F ratio.Thats why they make widebands. You can make it completly safe without a dyno you just might not get max power.( like 5hp off)

Mine wasn't dyno tuned and it runs very strong....

He datalogs it and street tunes it... as long as he can keep his eye on your A/F your car will be fine... The datalogging will show your A/F...

finding a place that will tune on a dyno is easy, id rather pay a little extra then get a "street tune" then you know everything is fine, plus if they tune and dont have a dyno do you think they will back up there tune if something goes wrong

This is true if you buy and install a wide band O2 for your car. The factory O2's are not wide band, and using them for a A/F reading is not very accurite at all.
