Default Super charger question?

I've been looking at the Mongoose kit at Modularpowe rhouse.com and I wanted to know if I would have to have a forged bottom end? If so how much does it cost to do that? And in the kit description it says it comes with everything to make your car run safe but I didn't see a boost gauge in the kit? There is nothing major done to my engine besides the bolton's I have listed in my signature. Oh and I have 3650 tranny stock clutch with 79000 mile's on car. I always thought you needed a forged bottom end to run a super charger safely, until I talked to this guy at the car show friday, he has a kenne bell 2.1 on a stock bottom end with some simple bolton's and he said he's never had any problem's. His is a 2002 also.

You'll be fine running the mongoose kit on your stock bottom end, just keep your power as close to 400rwhp as possible. The boost gauge isn't a "must", but you should have it in your car. so other than the kit, look into boost and fuel pressure gauges. other than that, buy the kit, install, tune...have fun
