Why dont you just get a rain guard....its a little peice that goes under your air filter so you dont suck up any water when u hit puddles and stuff....it came with my K&N intake

thats pretty cool Wisk. Not a bad idea but i think i would buy the whole RAI
I suppose. But I already spent money on a damn CAI and there wasn't this great deal going on at the time like THR is offering for them. I figured I'd just buy those parts and call it quits on the whole CAI thing. Remember everyone always says they're just for looks anyway.

If you're concerned about your CAI filter getting wet, then an RAI is your best choice. I used the Steeda RAI (504rwhp) and never had a problem with it. That would still be my first choice. The JLT RAI is also an excellent choice, as in the K&N FIPK II. The best looking award goes to the JLT! :-)

Im not worried about puddles, im talkin flooding here. only way to get around it....is to go through it. and its not like its deep but its nerve racking going through it knowing your air source is like 6inches away from disaster.

if you have a 4" inlet and at the end its a 2.5" outlet to the TB, people all you have is a 2.5" inlet, back to 11th grade, physics
