I'm wanting 2 install a s/c but my tech is saying my engine will blow as soon as i put it on because the 96 motor is the weakest of the 2v's. Is this true, or are they saying this 2 get me 2 spend big bucks on a forged block with all the bells and whistles since I've got 112,000 miles. I'm waiting on my pi heads and cams 2 come in before i get it tuned what else should i add? . Plugs, wires etc.

you could but i would build it then s/c

I would wait till I rebuilt the bottem end before sc at least go through it and check the bearings and hone and new rings.

well hes right you would be better off getting forged internals and to do the pi swap before the s/c but you could do the s/c and p.i. swapnow. you are on barrowed time with the stock block with 112000 miles. but ive seen alot of people with 100000+ miles with a s/c , just dont try to get to crazy with the hp till you get forged . i checked out your cardomain site and thats one nice looking stang you got i like the color!!
