Give up your new mustang???
I've been contemplating getting rid of my 96 for an older 65-73 mustang. If MPG, Mechanics, creature comforts (A/C) and things of that sort was not an issue. Would you give up your current ride for a real muscle car?
I had a 71 Mach and a 72 Nova that I gave up when I bought my current mustang cause I thought it was a more "Mature" thing to do. Now since my wife left me anyway, I'm considering going back to old muscle. ( It's one of those stories, wife left while I was in Iraq. Good ridence, she got fat anyway!)

RE: Give up your new mustang???
When i get older i would like to get a 68 fastback, but thats a long time from now. At my age right now would i give up my mustang for an older one, no. I used to have a 69 mach 1 and the car nickel and dimed me to death. There was always somthing going wrong with it. I like being able to go, get in my car, and drive, not work on it for 4 hours and then drive it!!!

RE: Give up your new mustang???
All I have driven my entire life was muscle cars. 67elcy,73nova,72nova,71mach. My nova and Mach were my daily drivers for about 8 years and I couldn't have imagined anything else at the time. Till I was 28 and my lifed changed and I got my new muscle. Now I'm in 30 and in College and I can only think how nice it would be to have back a real muscle car again. No payments just insurance and gas... I would have a winter beater just like I do now. what do you think? Maybe I'm just being nostalgic (sp)...

whats the point of the "old muscle" yea they look cool, but for function you cant beat wat today has to offer. whenever i watch like my classic car er whatever they have all the muscle cars at the track seeing what they can do. NOT impressed. all that power and they turn like 13s some alittle faster. cars today pack way more punch with half the power. i dont see a point in getting an old muscle car unless it just for fun every now and again or something to tinker around with on weekends
