I personally wouldnt have went down like that... Yea so you lost 3rd gear... you still got 1st 2nd 4th and 5th!!! PULL THAT BAD BOY OUT OF GEAR AND DRIVE HOME!!! LOL

Out of curiosity... how hard did you try to get it out? Im only partially serious with the above statement... depending on if the shifter started bending or not from how hard you were pulling...

I tried, the guy I was racing tried, his passenger tried, the tow driver tried, my friend tried, and finally with some coaxing with a rubber malletmy mechanicsgot it unstuck and it's currently sitting on the floor of the shop.

I was using a new pistol grip shifter and it had alot more leverage than the Mach 1 ball that I had been using and I think that had alot to do with it. I've broken a head unit before missing 3rd gear because had hand just went off the ball and straight into the cd player and that was the whole reason I got the pistol grip. I needed a handle that I could put alot of force behind; I really lean into some of my shifts, probably more than I need to in some cases...[&:]

I have the Hurst Pistol grip shifter too. It's freaking great, if you hit the gear right. It does put alot more force on the shift, so if you miss it, you REALLY miss it!

So the new T-45R should be in middle of next weeks and I'm a pic ***** so I'll take pics of everything from the blower, tranny, to the dyno tune. I gotta have my bisch running for my 2 day drive to california. Any MF'ers wannagive me the grand tour while I'm up that way for my cousins wedding. They live right across the street from the UCLA campus. I'd walk to the Union everyday when I was there for the summer.
