Default 2000 GT vs 2007 GT

I am racing a stock 2007 gt my 2000 gt is stock do u think know matter how bad he is at driving i could win or do i not have a chance?

You would still loose probably. He has a 40 horsepower advantage over you.

260 crank hp (00 GT) vs. 305 crank hp (07 GT). You're probably going to lose...

I am taking my subwoofer and seats out plus he has no idea how to powerbrake so he will just be launching from idle. idk. maybe this will make a difference????

There not that fast, ive raced one with only exhaust and stayed dead even. if he screws up the launch u at least got a chance.

all in the launch, if he just spins and you got the jump you should have a chance, but if he launchs OK youll prolly loose.

if it's gonna happen on the street, you're gonna get less traction so 'powerbraking' isn't a good idea... just drop it into one... and roll onto the throttle and auto-shift

Ya i raced one coming back from the beach all stock, we hit 150 an we were still gettin it dead even, but on take off he may have you...

I'm lightly modded(Gears, UDP, Plugs) and have beaten one.
Yeah, they have 40 more horsepower, but they also have 200 lbs. more.
Just give it your all and let us know how it turns out.
