I just got my gt and it is bone stock 96 and i will be wanting a great deep muscle sound and i would like to know what type muffler is best sounding for this engine, I will probably leave rest of exhaust like it is for now and just replace both factory mufflers.

just dont get flowmasters.... you will be dissapointed.

anything else will sound great if you want LOUD exaust.

Get an H w/ magnaflows ;-)

yeah i have an H with magnaflow magnapack cat back, to say the least ITS LOUD!

Im planning on just cuting out old muffs and putting in new ones, I want a deep sound but not rediculously loud. And i definetly dont want any high rpm rattling, if ya know what i mean, so which would be best for me magna or flowmaster?

i got an o/r h with flow 40s....to be honest it sounds ok...but from what ive been told flows tend to muffle the sound of the car a bit....im also wanting to change out my catback and cant decide on what to get......either slp magnapacks or bassani...so i dunno what to tell ya....
