Default 13.737 @ 101.4 mph WOOO

Sorry about the video quality being kind of low, my buddy taking the video had just blown up his lightning and must have still been shaken up.

This was taken up at the mustang showdown over the weekend. Definately worth the trip for the cruise and the day at the track. I am running an 11 second fox in the video thats why my car looks so slow, but hey I was happy with how she ran. I remember my 2-3 shift being quick, but it sounds like I am granny shifting on the video...

That's a pretty good run! Add some gears and that time will drop some more. Where do you race at?

Thanks guys. I made that run in epping NH, first time at that strip. Nicer track than where I usually run. My 60' on that run was a 2.06. Didnt quite beat the 2.0 barrier but I am on the original/nearly bald 245 goodyears so I thought that was a decent 60ft. It was the first time at the track with those shocks and struts. The nose definately comes up quicker but with the stock tires I'm not sure if I am seeing any gains from the shocks and struts. Still spun mostly thru first, then a lot in second, and a chirp in third. The car was bouncing off of rev limiter thru the traps on that run too. I see no point in getting gears until I get sticky tires tho.

Missed that run. Wish I could do that. Is everything working out for Jeff?

Thanks guys. John, your times will be there soon enough. You havent put many miles on your car yet. I have had mine for almost 27k. When I was first running my car I was running 14.6's and they slowly came down. I think tires and mods to help those tires plant are the best route to go if you are not looking at adding gobbs of power. If you watch that second video of me running Jeff...he pulls so hard out of the hole away from me. Once I was in second gear I was slowly realing him in (very slowly) but still just like everyone says its those first 60 ft. that make all the difference.

Next up is some tires I think and control arms so that I cna launch and hook at something above idle. It'd be nice to get some mid 13's out of my car with just the mods it has.

Jeffs truck is going to be alright I think. I had to call trip A yesterday to verify the truck was dropped off on saturday as the warranty expired on Sunday!

I also checked on that cruise on the 20th. It passes about 2 miles from my house...so if you guys are going I was thinking that maybe you could give me a heads up call and I could just pick it up when yuo guys roll thru.

Ya, I have only had my car for about 6k miles and that has included a new clutch and gears, so driving has changed a bit. I just want to hit 13's and I will be content with my times. I will have subframe connectors and control arms eventually so that should help a bit.

Jeff is a lucky man. With my luck, it would have happend a day after the warranty. I will give you a call when we get there to the meeting place. I don't know exactly where you live but you can let me know how early I should call you when we talk. Should be a decent cruise.
