My stang is an automatic 99GT, and is my DD. Yeah i race it occasionally, but the majority of its use is driving to school and work. Usually on the highway. Ive heard 4.10s will be too much, but 3.73's should be ok? Wanna try to keep the gas mileage above 15mpg lol.

I have 3:73's and we are in the same situation... I love mine, 4:10's would have been wayyyy to much for me.

With an auto, why not 4.10's? You don't have to worry about shifting, your car does, and it will give you much more punch off the line.

auto = 4.10's thats the general consensus around here, manual ugh, dont even ask, thats a headache....

sorry i must have missed that auto part... yeah with an auto go with 4.10s I have a 5speed.

Ive had both auto (99gt) and manual (current 03 gt) mustangs with 4.10 and i wouldn't trade my 4.10's for anything less. i still get from 17-20 mpg depending on how heavy my foot tends to be. (and I have a pretty heavy foot)

my 94 gt had 3.73's that was an auto. my 03 (manual)has 4.10's.i love them, better than 3.73's anyday. 4.10's are just that much better if you are staying N/A if you are going F/I then get 3.73's. this has been talked to death, a quick search and you will find all the answers.
