RE: bbk or mac lt's
I have bbk and no problems here

RE: bbk or mac lt's
I believe with the BBKs you'd have to drop at least one side of the headers in order to do transmission work, could be wrong though.
Overall though... I don't think you could go wrong either way. I just ordered a set of mac longtubes last week |
RE: bbk or mac lt's
Not for sure about the tranny and the headers but i have heard that to.I will be finding that out pretty soon though.I dontthink my tranny has much more life in her lol

RE: bbk or mac lt's
Hmm. Does that mean the MACs clear the tranny?
I have MAC LTs (ceramic coated). Both brands are good, just make sure you get ceramic coated headers because they tend to not rust as easily as the other type. |
RE: bbk or mac lt's
my right side header is rusting from the AC drier, save up and get the Kooks, you'll only have to do it once....

RE: bbk or mac lt's
BBKdents in one of the header tubes on the driver side so that the steering column can fit. They also won't fit an auto tranny. MAC doesn'tdent their headersto fitand they do fit autos. To me that says MAC has better designed headers with little to no fitment issues. Go MAC, but like everyone is saying spend the extra and get ceramic coated.

RE: bbk or mac lt's
With my MAC lt's I had to put the steering arm through the middle of the tubes.
