Yeah but they make aftermarket twin turbo ferrari's and lamborghini's that can do that too. Im talking about stock cars. Stock 3000GT VR-4's arent that quick. The newest ones did the 1/4 in mid 13's. . . .

The thing is most cars like Ferrari's, Lambo's, Aston's, and Porsche's are made and geared not for the 1/4 but for the open highway and for long windy german and italian highways. Thats where they would leave us in the dust. Shoot an RX-8 would eat almost all of us alive in that situation. I know someone with a Stage 3 roush and an RX-8 and he says the Roush cant even touch the RX-8 as far as handling goes. But in a straight line we all know the RX wont have a chance. So you have to fight them in your own territory. As in get them from a light or from a slow roll and dont take it up past 100 . . . not that i would ever condone street racing. . .im just saying if you lined up next to one at the track . . atleast you know where you stand.

I dunno about the rest of them, but I think your crazy if you think a basic head/cam combo making maybe 320-330 WHP is going to outrun a decently driven 450 horsepower viper.
They might only run 13s IF they had the stock tires on them... but its not likely being this old. 450+ horspower + car as light/lighter than ours = ownage. The only reason they weren't cracking 12s stock is the 60'.

By the way the first Vipers had only 400 hp and had a 3.08 rear end gear ratio and had a claimed 1/4 of 12.5 but the best tested was 13.3 with a professional driver. It wasnt until 96 that the vipers had 450 hp. Thats when they were pumping out mid to low 12 second 1/4's

And ill be the first to admit 90% of those cars will run away from us at around 100 mph or so. . . But im just talking about 1/4 mile here. As if you were to run into these guys at the drag strip.
