Default Tinting

First of all search button FTL![:@][:@][:@]

But i see a lot of ppl just somehow painting their taillights to tint them. I want to tint my tail light and also i have angeleye/halo cobra fog lights but since my headlights are tinted cobra ones it looks weird so does anyone have a write up for the painting procedure?

WRITE UP:

1. Get a can of spray tint.

2. Take thelights off your car.

3. Take the cap off the paint.

4. Spray the lights.

5. Let dry.

6. Put back on car.

Gladhe could help.

i just put vynal smoked tint on my tail lights, 3rd break and side markers. install was easy and they look awesome. they were kinda pricy, but im not doing the spray or paint tint by myself and im not going to pay a body shop to do it.

spray tint works out well ONLY if you take the time to do it right. i sprayed my fronts and my buddies tails and it looks good. you have to...
1. clean the lights with rubbing alcohol
2. use nightshades spray tint (buy on ebay or americanmuscle.com). spray light, even coats...15 mins. in between each coat to let dry
3. after about 3 or 4 coats wet sand the lens with 1000-1500 wet/dry sand paper to get out inperfections
4. polish lens with normal car polish
5. 2 or 3 light, even coats of clear coat (can buy at any autoparts store)
6. polish clear coat

here's how it came out

the clear coat is what makes it glossy again. with out it the lens is too dark and looks flat. it wont' mess up any "reaction" its just paint
