I found a great deal on some 17x10.5 Mach replicas around here they have DRs on them but only have 30% of the tread left. I was wondering what the smallest tire I could place on the 10.5s.

I've been looking at 315s but alot of them are still expensive as 18" tires.

So yeah my question is what's the smallest I can run on a 10.5" wheel.
I will have to get her lowered if I go with a 315 because it seems 315s really jack up the rear.

Also... about how much faster do tires wear if you're unable to rotate?
How do you figure? 315 is the tire width. It won't jack up the rear at all. That all depends on sidewall height.

the height of the tire depends on the aspect ratio, or the second number in the tire size.

They don't actually do it, but I put Black FR500's on my Mach and it really made it look like it needed to be dropped. With stock rims it didn't stand out that much.

Im not getting the wheels.

I'm just going to wrap my stock wheels in some 255s all around so I can keep saving for my header install!! UGH! lol

And I don't know why 315s look like they jack up the rear...but from the pictures of seen 315/35/17s look huge... almsot too huge.

The 315's look like they jack up the rear because they are a smaller sidewall height which in turn means that the tire fills out less of the wheel well which makes the rear end look jacked up. You put a taller wheel and sidewall in the wheel well and will have a car that looks lowered when in actuality the car has a high ride height.
