I just bought a 2004 GT convertible and I have a few questions maybe someone could help me with.1.Does anyone know if the running horse decal on the lower door panels is a factory option or aftermarket?I have saw this only on white 2004 cars on E-Bay,but maybe I haven't seen enough cars.2.Does anyone know the last production # for 2004 mustangs?My car was built 4-26 and I read the last car was produced 5-10-2004.Not important I know,but I was curious.3.Could any 40th Ann.cars have the stripes deleted?My car has the interior options,but has the running horse on the sides and the chrome spoke wheels which I read was a late year replacement.Thanks in advance for any help.

About the running horse decal on the door panels, if its the same one I am thinking of, then that was a factory option meaning you could order it either with it on or have the dealer install it...I think.[&:]

For the third question, what stripes are you making reference to?

I read from Ford that true 40th ann. had two stripes across hood and trunk and stripes along the lower sides and no spoiler.Iwould love to see a Ford sales book that listed all the options,silly I know,but I used to own a rare Cougar and have gotten interested in production numbers.

I always thought the running ponys on the bottom on the door only came on the V6s with the pony package...can you post pics?
