I bought my car with super 40 flows and a generic catted X, and i honestly think it's the x design thats killing the signature sound.

with the lm2 though id go with a o/r x.

chambered setups like flows though, o/r h ftw. thats what im switching to.

youtube searches for mustang exhaust are your friend.

Pretty much going to get an o/r H pipe but just wondering about catted or not? If not don't you have to get some o2 elims or something?

high flow cats are more so you can pass emissions (for certain states, cali wont pass you and some other very strict states wont either) but some states just require cats to be on the car. the cats can change the sound a little. its up to you...exhaust is all personal preference theres not much gain between any setup so get whatever u want.

If I got an x-pipe I'd get it with high flow cats, high flow cats sound better (at least to me) with out them. It may not be as loud, but better

rule of thumb:
h+ resonator style mufflers= bamf
x+ chambered mufflers= sex

H Pipe- Deeper/throatiertone and more low end power
X Pipe-Raspier tone and more high end power, produces VERY little more power than the H Pipe

Catted will help pass emissions. They will also have a more reserved tone compared to uncatted.

If you go with an o/r you need mils for the check engine light.
