I'm probably going to get the Summit 5 spoke drag wheels since they are inexpensive. 15x8 in the back, 15x4 in the front.

How do skinnies handle for daily driving? I've heard they're not that great. That's why I wanted a set of regular sized street tires on the front, like a 205 or something. Maybe smaller. I have seen 185 on some old Buicks and Oldsmobiles. And then for the back I'd want to have two pairs, one 15x10 for fat *** street tires, and one 15x10 for drag tires.

What size sidewall would you guys recomend for a street tire? I was thinking 335/xx/15. I want to fill up the wheel well real well.

Oh, and can someone explain the numbering for drag radials? Like, what is 28x12? Is that overall tire height (including rim) by the width? I'm not sure if I totally understand.

I had that same question.... And it really didn't answer me as much as actually getting in a car and driving. W/ power steering and all, it friggin turns like butter. So smooth you forget that its a smaller tire and you have to compensate with braking distance and turning. I wouldn't drive as aggressive on the highway as you normally would, whipping through traffic and making last minute stops as you tailgate 5 feet from the person in front of you.

I run 15x3.5 with 165R every single day. So do alot of my buddies. Obviously, you can't do 100mph around a banked turn, but you can drive normally just like everyone else with no problems.

and yes a 28x12 is a 28" diameter and 12" wide. You need something like a 26x10, and I don't think you need a 10" wide wheel.

One thing about the width of a Slick tire, the width it says isnt the width of the amount of rubber to the ground. Its the width of the sidewall. So like mine, 27x10.5.... Only about 8.5 to 9 inches are actually touching the ground.

OK, well say I did have a 15x10 rim. What size tires should I use for them. Don't take power and need for them into consideration, just what size fits 10" rim the best?

Same question with a street tire? Would it be like 335/60/15 or something?

Well for a 15x10 rim, youshould be ablefit a slick 28x11.5 on them easy. You just gotta find out if your sidewall can take it, which I belive in your car it can.

I usually go by, rim width plus 2 1/2 for a slick, and1 1/2for a regular tire.

That's all good and true, but I'm trying to figure out what this guy is running to need a 28x11.50 ET DRAG. That tire ain't playing son. IMO, you are gonna need 500rwhp and more TQ to need that much tire.
