Whats needed to wheelie???

A friend and I were talking today, and the question came up. what would it take to pull a wheelie in a 2V? So just wanted to post it up and see what everyone thought it would take. . . Thanks.

woudlnt it be more of a entire car thing. Built rear, trans, driveshaft, everything so it can take the force and then some real sticky tires

probably more money than your car is even worth.

1000 or so pounds in the trunk should do it.

suspension set up for it, built rear, slicks, new clutch, weight reduction up front.

plus a ton of power. anyone know about how much power is needed to lift the front end with all the right suspension/chassis mods?

I think it has to do a lot more with suspension than power. You do need power, but not a ridiculous amount. Unless of course you mean like wheel stands.

power isnt the key, id say 350 rwhp would do it if you have the right suspension, built rear and slicks

HP??? PPPpppfffffffffffttttttttttttttttt! Try Torque. 400-500rwtq a loose suspension and a very high stall converter would do it.

Ask JayC. His car launches beautifully! It's gonna take big suspension work to get the car on the back tires, and it's gonna take even more drivetrain work, to get it to stay in one piece.
