Will a 2000 to 2004 4.6 DOHC cobra engine fit in a 2003 Gt mustang

Does anyone know if a 2000-2004 4.6 DOHC cobra engine wouldfit and mount up to the stock engine mounts of a 2003 Gt mustang? I would figure a 2003cobra definitly would since the engine is the only real differencebetween thetwo? I was planning on making the swap and was wondering if anyone has done one yet. I plan on also using the T-56 trans. Also would the ECU the new motor comes with be able to clip into the stock one of the 2003 GT? Thanks

Yes on everything except the Wiring Harness for the ECU 2003 Cobra motor is Supercharged so the harness is a little different. Also, be sure to get the driveshaft from the Cobra donor I believe the output shaft on the 6speed is different than the stock GT tranny. Differential Input is the same.

Is there any info on the differences of the 2003 cobra dohc harness and the 1997 cobra harness? I spoke with the Ron Francis Co. and they have a harness that will allow the engine to run but nothing on the rest of the car, it's really made for a race car or hot rod. I'm wondering how many actuall circuits are fine and if a few could be added along with the 2003 computer to have a fully functional electrical system.

Differences from what to what???

GT/03 Cobra: GT's have no supercharger and only single overhead cams vs the cobra which has a supercharger(eaton) and dual overhead cams.

Mach or older cobras/03 Cobra: 03 cobra has lower compression and a supercharger.
