BBK LT's, Good choice?
 

I heard this video of a 04 mustang w/ BBK LT's, BBK shorty H, and SLP LM II's and I think I fell in love. My question is, is BBK "good"? Why do I think for some reason everybody says "mac's better"?

I found a great deal for the BBK headders on ebay from THR Mustang Performance for $391.99 (free shipping). Part number BBK-1431
Thats the correct part for my mustang correct? its an 04 gt w/ manual tranny. Let me know guys, I wana get this fast so when I go out of town I can leave my car at the shop.

there chrome.... I know ceramic is better, but I mean i dont care about cosmetics, Im not showing off under the car

i actually hated the way my LTs sounded with H and LM2s. way too loud and way too raw.

If you like the sound man then get them. Its your car and if you like them and the sound, and dont care about the look, get them. And they are selling for a decent price too.

is there any advantage/disadvantage to doing chrome instead of ceramic other than chrome will rust?

ceramic will keep your underhood temps lower, chrome will run hotter and rust just spend a few hundred more and do it right the first time

i like my BBK's, they are ceramic. not only does the ceramic keep temps down but it helps it preserve the new look longer. mine still look brand new, and they are 8 months old, and the fitment was good too.
