RE: updates of my rebuild (pix)
Haha yeah, thats why I plan on parting out the body and crap off my car when I decide to start a new project. I'm thinking a 68 fastback deserves a blown 2v! It wont be for a while, maybe 2 years.

thanx guys. yeah, it is nice to have another vehicle as your DD. having a mustang as a DD is just out of the question in my neck of the woods. i wouldn't make it out of my driveway haha.

RE: updates of my rebuild (pix)
on my DR's along with the rear end setup, i'm hoping to get in the mid to low 12's. my goal is a 12.001 i dont wanna hit 11.999 cause then my track makes me have a rollcage and all that other bs i do believe. that's why i'm kind waitin' to see what i actually run til i make a final decision on running the 150 wet shot or not. does me no good if i can't use it at the track w/out being thrown out.

RE: updates of my rebuild (pix)
well, i got ahold of patriot performance today, spoke to Gunnar. he said my heads should be here within a week or 2. the reason i dont have them already is because they're currently behind on their orders 2-3 weeks. anyways, got my shipment of "dress-up" parts today, so figured i'd share some pics with you guys:
tail light tint
shift light
gauge pod and gauges (boost which i won't be using yet. hopefully by the end of summer. air/fuel, and oil pressure)
bullet pedal covers/pedals
billet shifter bezel
billet shift **** (dont think i'm gonna use it though. came with the package.)
billet fuel door
I think it'll look pretty sweet, especially after i get my 18" black fr500's and remove my spoiler. hoping the black rims and such set off the carbon fiber hood. if not i'll get it painted, i suppose.

RE: updates of my rebuild (pix)
i got the taillight tint off of ebay. idk how it's gonna come out though. if it doesn't look good, i'm just gonna get some of that spray tint and do them that way i suppose.
