I bought my car in May 2006 as a birthday preasent to myself. Since then I've spent a little over $5000.00 bucks on mods and apperance stuff. I guess you could say I got bit by the mod bug. And I still plan on a supercharger in the future. Am I really going to spend over $10 grand on a practically brand new car when I bought it? The answer is yes. You guys are a bad influence[just kidding] with yourbad *** mustangs.

Yeah, I paid waaaaay too much for my 96 (10grand) then have put way too much into it myself. Next time I'm either starting with a Cobra or a shell with a 4v and KB in waiting. My wife will be getting my current mustang. Either that or I'll strip my car and put the motor and S/C in my 68.


If you didn't notice, Not one of those scenarios I listed is cheap. MF.com is a bad influence. They are like that song from the 80's "Hurts So Good."

I do know about spending money. I just bought a house in october andwe looked for a long time because I couldn't find one with a nice enough garage for my car

I bought my 03 in december of 05 with 20,000 miles on it for 15,000...I have since put 15,000 into it...and it is gonna take another 15,000 to get it the way I want... Hello, my name is CHris and I have a problem..[&:]

yes - i got the modding bug as well. i bought my '03 in July '06 for 18K (vert) and droped 10K in mods but I am finally done soon. Good news is all is paid for nextmonth.

i will be keeping this car for a long long time....
