Goodyear Tires Question

Goodyear Tires Question
I called my local tire dealer to get a quote and ask for an opinion on the Goodyear GS-D3 tire. He told me that it was a soft tire, which I already new, and actually suggested the ResponsEdge by Goodyear. The ResponsEdge gets last 2x longer with tread. But it is H rated.
My questions is...My 2001 Bullitt is used as a daily driver and I like to take some tight turns every now and then and wind it out some, but I'm not using it for racing/dragging or trying to get over 100mph on the interstate. What would be my best choice?
Goodyear GS-D3 mounted/balanced: $921.57
Goodyear ResponsEdge mounted/balanced: $700.27
Thanks,
Austin

RE: Goodyear Tires Question
why are you set with just goodyear tires? There are other brands out there but you probably do not want an H rated tire. Good w/ a vr rated and if where out mileage is a concern look at tire wear ratings. i recommend you take a look at tirerack.com for prices and consumer reviews as I think you can do much better than 900 bucks for a set even if you take your wheels elsewhere for mounting.

RE: Goodyear Tires Question
I got Nittos and love em. Theyre pretty cheap too. I think i payed like $430 shipped to my door. And unless your smoking your tires at every other street light, they dont wear out that quickly.
