Default mongoose kit... anyone here actually running one?

ok so the foxbody is upfor sale right now, and as soon as it goes im supercharging the 02. do any of yall actually have this mongoose kit? it seems like a great way to go(some of yall were the ones who suggested it to me). if any one actually has this kit, i have a few questions

how long does shipping take? is it like ordering from summit and ill see it in a week? or like ordering from b&g turbo and ill see it in 3 months?

did you put it on a dyno and check a/f? how close was it? will i need some more tuning after the fact?

and ofcourse... what kind of power did you put down

and any suggestions?

thanks

I don't have a mongoose kit but tim tuned my car and everything is great. I've seen a few guys on here that have the kit and they said with his mail'd tune the a/f ratio was spot on when they dyno'd their car.

I have it.
I had Tim tune my car but his mailorder tune was spot on! You should always check the a/f regardless of his reputation.
Vortech sends the blower and that took a little over a week and MPH sends all the other stuff which took 2-3 days.
I made 376 rwhp on a conservative tune with full boltons.

I got my stuff from MPH in under a week, and the vortech stuff in about 1.5 weeks. The blower, bracket, pipes, and a few other things come directly from vortech.

I drove mine 2+ hours to STL, put it on the dyno, and it was spot on from the very first run. A/F curve was very smooth and stable the entire way, from 3000 to 6000 RPM

MPH ftw. I dunno how he does it, but Tim is the MAN at tuning 2v cars.

when you dyno. did u ask for a tune or just for dyno pulls? my dyno shop charges 85 for 3 pulls and 600 to tune it. but they have some of the best tuners in the u.s so in not worried about that just wondering

They won't need to tune it because you will already have a tune. Unless your tune is completely screwed up then you're only gonna need pulls.
