Looking To Buy Cobra Need Advice

I was looking at a 04 Term. It has 11,000 miles on it. I have only seen 2 pics of it, but it looks clean as hell. He wants 24,900 for it. I was curious if that was a good deal? Should I ask to sell lower? or is that average. Its yellow, with swede interior. Also has anybody got one financed totally? Like what would be my payments per month(roughly)? Thanks guys..

car loans are simple math... ( total amount loaned x intrest rate) + total amount loaned= full amount you have to pay back...then you take the full amount and divide it by the number of months the loan is for... that will be your monthly payment

In my area that wouldn't be bad but it differs so much. Also as far as payments go, that really depends on your interest rate. I would expect something in the $400+ range though.

imo its not worth it, since the miles are so low, Id guess 21-22xxx ... but only if you intend to keep it with low miles, if your buying it for a daily driver then shoot for 35k or so miles so you dont pay so much for nothing

most cobra owners are looking to outright sell and rule with car loans is generally no salvaged titles, ~$200 for every 10,000 financed.
id personally see how long car was listed and check the condition then id lower it down from 24,900 to 23,000 flat, if he says no no no then ask for a test drive, if you like it offer 23,900-24,000 and mention how its still a mustang if he puts up a fuss. chances are he will take it since gas prices suck (which can be used against him) if he doesnt then just walk away and leave him your number, remind him that you are looking for something within that week and have a loan+all paper work ready-in-hand.
good luck =)

That sounds like a pretty good deal acutally, pretty damn low miles.

Yea 11000 is really low for a 04 Term. He put a pulley on it, and exhaust...Thats it. He said it is somewhere around 420 hp..I was going to trade him my 97 Cobra with some cash but he said he could only give book value on my Cobra. I would finance the rest...I don't know I'm torn...Anybody else...I was going to offer him 21500....;)

That sounds like a semi-decent deal for them around here...most 04's with that mileage don't go much lower than that. I've been looking for a while, and no termies within 100 miles listed less than 26k (ANY mileage).

Make sure it's exactly what you want. Patience keeps you in the drivers seat.
