Quick Shot xMLx

Well I just got the 125 shot jets in today and installed them. Did 2 quick pulls on the highway and didn't hear anything wrong(well the car is too loud to tell). Plan on throwing it on the dyno to see what the A/F is.

For those of you guys with nitrous(namely 125+ shots) and still on the stock block, what are your overall opinions on the safety of spraying a 125 on a stock motor? Car seemed to react fine to the 100 shot previously and now the 125, but I really can't afford this thing to blow up anytime soon.

I don't really spray much. Perhaps 2 times a week but this is my DD lol.

well i know there are a few people who spray 150 shots on their stock motor gts and are fine. i have thought about sprayin a 150 befor but im going to get it tuned for it. i think as long as ur a/f is good then the motor should be able to handle it. ur probly only makin somewhere around 370rwhp which is still in the safe zone for our cars.

i got a question...i have a zex kit and i want to spray 100 shot into but my tuner said it would be unsafe and the motor wouldnt be able to handle it..i cant afford to have it blow up now cuz i dont have n e money to fix it so any help would be great..thanks

With a good tune, a really good tune (MPH) I don't really see a problem with it. I don't know a ton about nitrous though.
How much power were you making with the 100 shot?

i think its around 80 cuz zex is rated at the crank im almost postive they are...i really dont want to blow my car up....any ideas? i have some of the fuel upgrades already...like i have new injectors and im still looking for a svt focus pump but cant find it so if you know where a good place to get one from the let me know...thanks alot

i run a NX 100 shot and that is rated to the wheels. i only make 360rwhp. u could easily run a zex 100 shot and be perfectly fine. the only fuel work u will need is a new fuel pump if it is a wet kit. id still get it tuned tho

yea im going to get a new fuel pump and get it tuned...but its a dry shot so i dont know if that would make a diff in wheather or not the motor can handle it or not...but what i dont understand is how the tuner that i use doesnt think that it will handle it and i know hes a good tuner cuz he tunes cobras...just recently tuned my friends cobra so i dont know what to do...any opinons?

I saw a stock GT (catback/K&N) plus a 125 shot blow a hole about the size of your head in his intake manifold last weekend, but that was on a diablo tuner (generic "nitrous' tune).

well im going to get it dyno tuned so hopefully that will be less of a possibility for me but i dont know..i think imma get a set of cams and just run the 75 shot...sound like a good plan?
