Default h-pipe newbie question

ok, here i go. just got my 02 gt, has flowmasters on it, cat back. i want to do an h pipe but my question is, as i am shopping on the internet, i see them listed for "shorties"

if i have stock exhaust manifolds, what am i looking for? i have no immediate intentions of installing long or short headers, so what the stock ones called?

also, anyone ever find out where the oil press. sender is and what the ford # is for a replacement?

You just want your basic H Pipe... It will either be Cats or no cats. (O/R)
It will connect to your stock manifolds and to your mufflers.

The oil pressure sender is right beside the oil filter.

go with MAC's o/r - h pipe. its cheap (like $150) bolts right up, yeilds good gains, and sounds MEAN as hell!

here is how mine sounded before all of the bolt ons....with just flow 40's and mac o/r h pipe.
i say how it sounded "before all of the bolt ons" is b/c i swear with the bolt ons...tune...etc the sound has gotten a lil quieter and a lot smoother. i plan on making a new/updated sound clip soon, so i can compare the two.

http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_46/HXpipes.html

there ya go....160 w/free shipping.

edit: you will need either MIL's, or a tuner to avoid/turn off the check engine light. also depending on what year of stang you may need 02 extensions as well.

MILs don't work all the time. it's a gamble. save up some extra money and get the tuner with the pipe and then you will be able to fine tune what boltons you do have

just installed mac o/r h-pipe and upr mil's. got them from brenspeed.com cost me $214 shipped. The shop wouldnt install mil's cause they aparently dont fit and had to be modified. They didnt want to be responsible for cutting the tabs off and ruining them so i installed them myself. took 5 mins. I have a 2000 gtand I guess i got lucky the mil's worked.
