18x9 or 18x10 for the rear?

Hey guys should I get 18x9's all the way around with 275's, or go with 18x9's in the front and 18x10'sout back with 285's? Is there a significantdifference in appearance and performance? My car is an '00 GT with a 2 inch drop if that helps the decision any. Thanks fellas

Definitely go with the 18x10's in the rear. If not, you are going to regret it. I have 18x9 front and 18x10 rear and love the look. Just be sure you realize that tires are expensive in the 18" diameter.

Good point. Thanks for that, I definately don't want to get something and then later regret it[>:] I don't worry too much about tire prices, my good friend's dad owns a tire store, so I can get them pretty cheap:D

HAHA! Wish I could man, but no can do. I see you are in Miami, ever hear of a crappy little town called Clewiston? I haven't lived there since '97 or '98, but just curious if you have. By the way, just ordered a set of 18x9 and 18x10 bullitts, close call between them and FR500's.

lol. I hope you are not speaking from experience[&o] I just might go to 305's, but I'm afraid they won't fit due to my car being lowered 2 inches[>:]

Good choice, man. And I was just joking about the tire hook-up, figured it was not possible, haha. As for tires, I run a 295/35/18 in the rear and they fit perfect. There is no bulge, and even if I was lowered, I don't think I would have any issues. However, I am certain that 305's will work.

As for the town of Clewiston, I have heard of it but cannot remember where it is or when I heard of it.
