Default Car running Sluggish

Since a while ago my car has been running very crappy. Not badly, but just way too slow. It's very frustrating since I have to give it a lot of gas for it to accelerate decently. Sparkplugs were changed about 10K miles ago and fuel filter about 1.5 years ago. The engine shakes a little at times and is sometimes felt inside the car. There aren't any irregular noises and I've never gotten a CEL. I really have no idea to what it might be. Only mods are in sig (4.10s haven't been installed yet). 65K on the clock. Any help is appreciated.

fuel filter changed 1 1/2 years ago?!?! holy sheeeeit haha

not sure how many miles you have driven in that 1 1/2 years, but i can tell you the first thing to do, is change your fuel filter!!

you'd be suprised at how it fixes the sliggishness, and improve your gas milage. it may not be necassary, but i change my fuel filter out every other oil change . they are only $10!

start there. if that doesnt fix it....let us know.

im having the same problem so i would guess its ur x pipe honestly. i put my o/r h pipe on and my CEL did come on, but 2 weeks later went off. but that doesnt mean the problem is fixed. i think like mine, ur computer still thinks something is wrong with ur car for having not cats therefore putting it in limp mode. my car doesnt feel as strong, feels like it needs a tune up. but u said your plugs were recently changed so i would bet ur need to clear ur codes for no cats

my CEl never came on since I installed MILs, but I was going to have it scanned for codes anyway. Now that I think about it, it did start to feel more sluggish after the x pipe install. I made a thread about running an o/r pipe and no MILs and I was told the car would run perfectly fine. The rear02 sensorsonly monitor the cats so the CEl would only turn on because the cats were not functioning and therefore wouldn't pass emission. So from what i understood, even if the CEl came on, it would not affect the car's performance at all. The only thing i can think of is that since the car sounds louder, I expect it to be faster, but let me assure you that's not the case. heck i've had minivans pass me since i was going so slow.

If it's not your fuel filter it's most likely your cop's. I had to replace mine at around 100,000 miles. I had a low rpm hesitation and a hesitation when giving it gas and I didn't have a CEL either.

i've been thinking it might be that too. Any way to test them? did you replace the COPs with stockers?
