go to your tuner and get them to do a 2 step tune for the track. it pretty much sets a rev limiter at a set rpm when at a dead stop so you can mash the gas at a dead stop and then just slip/dump the clutch with full throttle and then once you get going .5mph that rev limiter disappears and is normal then so you can launch at full throttle. but get some stickier tires before you do that or you will spin like a ****!!! but thats my suggestion. and also replacing the stock rubber bushings where the upper control arms meet the rear axel and replace them with spherical bearings from upr. they help the car react better to launching and allows it to squat better on a launch. but good luck next time out. i hope to hit the track soon to see how horrible of a driver i am.

yeah i just checked. atco is like 2 hours away from me.... thats definetly not a fun drive

ok... just come off like your leaving a redlight, but obv much much faster with the clutch and the gas... this usually works prty good for ppl that dont know the car fantastically
what i do... take it to 2grand and quickly feather the clutch and give it gas... itll spin ever so slightly and then when i feel it hook its WOT and no clutch. when shifting, dont hit the floor w. the clutch just stab it quickly w your foot and come off the gas about an inch or two and bang that bitch into gear... stock gears? throw it in 4th at 5k in 3rd
doing that my stock car went 13.76 at 102, drag radial times will be up tomorrow
and dude dont feel bad, my 1st run was a 16.2 spinning 1st and 2nd... it takes a pass or two to learn the track conditions and the car.
