stall when brake is pressed
need some diagonises help. this happens sometimes but not all the time. when im coming to a stop i take it out of gear and press on the brake and the rpms will drop. if i press on the brake harder the rpms will drop more. and sometimes it will stall. my normal idle is around 700 when out of gear and on the brake with a soft foot it drops to about 500 if i press harder it will drop to about 300 then it will go back up with foot still on the brake im thinking iac but not 100% convinced yet. some opions would be great. thanks in advanced

RE: stall when brake is pressed
more than likely the powersteering pump is creating too much load on the motor. i would say it is due to a dirty or faulty IAC because the computer should be able to adjust the counts to keep it idling.

RE: stall when brake is pressed
its an S and W 8 point i got it for around 176 i believe. and i would try taking the original one off first and cleaning it good with carb cleaner as with 99 thousand miles you will probably find a good bit of carbon in it.
