Default clutch slips really bad!

so my stock clutch is done. but i was thinking maybe its just an adjustment? or do i need to just get a new one? every time i get on it and shift it slips it drives me crazy because people beat me because of it.[:@]

I dought it's an adjustment. The stock clutch quadrant automatically adjusts itself. Sounds like you need a new one.

I went with a spec. I really don't think it matters what brand you go with though. I don't see why you would get an aftermarket adjuster when you have an automatic adjuster from the factory that does a good job.

I don't. I really think the chatter has to do with the driver. I've heard of people saying they have it and some don't. I have the stage 2+ which is good for 630 lbs of torque.

well my stock clutch was slipping really bad thats why i went with the adjustable stuff as a last ditch effort to keep driving my car since my dd was totaled last month. it worked the stock clutch isnt slipping anymore but now i look for it to go anyday. i only did this because i dont have the money for a new clutch and the steeda kit was only 110.00 its just a quick fix.the factory quadrent is weak and unreliable when paired with a aftermarket heavy duty clutch and could cause the new clutch to wear out permature. thats what ive allways read in 5.0 mag and mm&ff and sorry guys but i trust the info that those magazines put out.
