I got around to doing the rear panels this weekend...I haven't been able to make my rear seat delete, so I just put some fabric over the backseat and tucked it in for now... Doesnt look too bad. Carpet, dash, and console are next...

very nice, one word of advice, dont use any armoral wipes or anything on painted areas. my brother painted most the interior of my car back when it was his, and he didnt realize the alcohol content int he wipes would be bad for the paint. i've since replaced all the panels except for the dash(which has bubbles one the passenger side air bag cover ) with charcoal due to paint flaking and peeling.

but, i must admit, it is definantly a cheap fix, and looks good as hell for a good time. just stay away from armorall from now on.

Thanks, but I didnt use any armor all on the pieces.... I knew that I couldn't do that because it would lift the paint off..
Cheap fix? Not really... The cleaner is about 12$ a can, the primer is about 6$ a can and the Dye is 18$ a can. So far it has taken a can a panel.
Not sure if your brother just used regular spray paint or not, but thats what it sounds like.

he used interior paint he got from oreily's or autozone. and yes, 36 bucks a panel, is cheap as hell. as unless you go to a junk yard you will be paying 100+ depending on the panel. 300+ for the dash.

i just did mine as well this week using SEM color coat...i bought a gallon they mixed it to match fords factory dark charcoal color...i sprayed it thru my detail gun and it came out amazing on the dash...the hard plastic as good too but i ended up scratching the console with my seat belt, maybe has to cure longer, i can touch it up though...i used an armor all wipe on it the next day and was fine, i use meguiars 40 interior cleaner tho and it makes it look alot better...the back need it next
