RE: trade 03 gt w/40k for 03 mach w/74k
I almost think you need to find someone else to give you 14K for your GT..lol..
THEN go buy a different Mach.
But, 74K is not horrible for a '03 I suppose. You just have to decide if you're willing to trade a much lower mileage car for a higher mileage car.
Does anyone know when things start wearing out on Mach 1's and such? I mean, plenty of people have put GT's into the 100K range before needing a lot of work (granted, they dont own my car) but still....
things to consider...

problem is that if you try to trade your car in for the mach they won't give you what its worth probably less than what they are selling the mach by acouple thousand. trust me I tried with my 04 gt with 48,000 for a 03 mach a couple of months ago. then after taxes and tags and dealer fees you will probably owe more than you owe now and for what a 4v that was probably was beat on untill it started breaking down or was in an accident. from the sounds of the bent rim, and torn seatthe did not baby the car.

no go man...id keep what you got...think about...if you werent driving down that road, you would have happily driven your gt home, and happily driven it out the next time.....not worth it...dont sell yourself short for a car.

if you are going to trade in your GT for a mach.....do it for one that has low miles and hasnt been beaten to death.
even tho it is a 4v....it seems almost like a downgrade in this case...not an upgrade. from the description of the mach....i cant even imagine the type of abuse its taken to be in that kind of shape. most mach owners take care of their machs...and its usually pretty obvious, just by looking at them. tears in the seats?? bent rims?? sheezis....who owned this thing...a 16yr old kid?
