Any of your old stuff you don't want you can send to Florida. I'll pick up the freight. Oh yeah, I'm thinking low 9's will be no issue.
I have a set of custom forged JE aluminum pistons (14.5 compression).

Heads are done, block is done and crank is in process. Also, forged Diamond pistons (15.5:1 CR) are ordered as well as forged Manley Chevrolet rods, 3/8 Comp Cams pushrods and a few other secret goodies.

The goal is between 725-730 HP N/A and to have it on the dyno within 4 weeks. The install in the car will take a 1/2 a day and then it's off to the track to see how she'll do.

Will keep ya posted.
Yay for C15

Also upgraded my valve springs to a little higher spring pressure. Gonna gain a few hundred more rpms.

The amount of HP your valvesprings require to compress would probably cut my motor to half it's output.

As far as looks??? Yes...she sure was pretty. And she will also have a special place in my heart because we went through alot together. But the ease to work on the new car is heads and shoulders over the Mod. motor.

I'll build another New Edge again.

Can't wait for that. Didn't you have a Pinks date set for the Bucket?
