Kenne Bell install finally......................
With the big delay on getting my polished 2.1 intercooled kit from Kenne Bell over, I had to wait an additional two weeks for the shop to take my car in for the install. The shop recieved the kit back on June 9th. after many delays, because the people that they have do the polishing were falling behind in thier work. I was on the phone like ever other day bugging Kenne Bell, and the shop I ordered it through was riding them as well. When the kit was supposed to be delivered (back in May sometime), there were very few projects sitting on the lifts in the shop. Because I recieved my kit so late from KB, the shop had taken in about ten projects to get done. I finally got the call Friday to give me the green light to drop it off on Monday (6/24/08), to get my kit installed and me off thier backs. I have a rental car for transportationin the meantime, and should have my car back by Saturday the latest. I had the shop order a polished alternator, to match the supercharger for a little extra detail. I will try to stop at the shop during the week to take as many photos as I can,during different stages of the supercharger/intercooler being installed in my car. I cannot wait to get my "new car" back at the end of the week, my gas milage will not be very good the first week I get it back!

It should not take them a week to install it, but I was kind of thinking that they would only get some minor tear down done last night. I was thinking about two or three days with everything else they still had in the shop yesterday, but I was planning on Saturday the very latest.
