As the title states, there is a 'cherry' 01 Cobra for sale locally to me. It has 20K miles, no mods, one owner, he even has the receipts to all the oil changes. He has all the certs and original window sticker too! The thing is immaculate!!! I have a 99 C5 FRC, with just over 105K miles. I'm thinking about selling it for this Cobra. Have I gone mad? Ha,ha,ha.........in all seriousness, be it Corvette or Mustang, I'm a big fan of both. I've always had a soft spot for the Cobras, escpecially in black, which this one is.There pros and cons too both rides. I don't know maybe I'm bored ro something. I'm aware this is a Mustang forum, but some insight would be great! Thanks!

the only way I would sell a C5 for a stang is if it was a 03-04 cobra not a 01. termi's ftw

It seems like a really nice '01 but if I was you I would opt for '03 or '04 Cobra if it was me.

If you are going from a C5 to a Cobra, you'll be disapointed with the performance of the 01 Cobra. It's a great car, but it's still a ways behind a C5.

If you want to match the performance of your Vette, go with a 03/04 Cobra.

+1...only way ide go from a c5 to a cobra is if it was an 03/04

keep the C5 for another 10 thousand miles or so, and then if you still have a thurst for a mustang get an 03-04 cobra. i am not sure how well you are versed you are with mustangs so ill start with the basics, the reason go with the 03-04 cobra is because of the factory supercharger. with just a pully and a tune you can get close to 500 rwhp
