Default SCT Tuner

I friend of mine has a SCT Tuner he bought for a ford F350(diesel) that he recently sold. He asked me if i wanted to buy the tuner off him. He said it will work on ford vehicles he just downloads a tune from the internet, and will get a tune for my GT and put it on if i buy it off him. My question is will it work on my car. I dont have many mods, throttle body & plenum, K&N filter with the air sliencer removed. Do you think its worth the investment, not sure how much he wants for it??

MAKE SURE you plug it in to YOUR car and try to load a tune BEFORE purchasing.

i bet you $100, that even if your friend downloads a tune for a mustang off of the internet.....that when he goes to plug it into your car, the tuner will not load the tune onto your car. b/c it is setup to work with HIS cars/trucks computer code....and not yours.

I seriously doubt a tuner for a diesel will work on a gas burner.
