Default What's the problem?

Okay my car is doing something weird. The problem comes and goes, it is not constant. When I push my clutch in, the car revs up on it's own instead of dropping the RPM's like it should. Eventually it will slowly fall, but it will rev up and hold for a little while. When the problem is happening, I can actually let the clutch out in first, and shift into second, not stalling out, without ever touching the gas. And then the next day, or a week later, it'll be fine. And then it will randomly come back. Is it some kind of idle sensor malfunctioning or what? PLEASE HELP!

Clean your iac valve or buy a new one. Sounds like it is sticking.

I cleaned it, and the problem is not as bad, but is still there. Any other suggestion?
