help build a 12 sec n/a car...
 

ok, so plans are 12s n/a and 11s on spray... id like a solid, mid 12, then a 100 shot to bring it in the 11 range. i know it can be done, and i have a parts list in mind.... but lets hear what you guys have to say....

the best part.... 2500-3000 budget.

does the $3000 include the nitrous setup? Or just suspension and N/A stuff?

well, if it can include it ill buy a nx kit, if it cant, ill use my NOS kit off of my 5.0

whats done to yours that makes it run 12s?

12s are easy... I think they can be done with very little HP mods. I'd say basic tune, exhaust, full suspension, rear end and slicks.

50/50s
4banger fox springs front
cut stockers back
no front swaybar
vt stage1 cams
edelbrock intake
tb/plenum
2 step
tune
drag radials(already have, next is an et street)
3.73s
and eventually welds

thoughts? too little? too much?

an eaton M112 blower... and 4valve heads... and an 03 cobra shortblock... and a 4# lower pulley... and a 6 speed Tremec... :cool::D

yea, thatll do it lol

flex wall slicks... a gear, that will get you 12's pretty much.. your rear end needs a build, but it will last a little while
